The State Farm Youth Classic returns to Bloomington-Normal Sunday through Tuesday, bringing junior golfers from across the United States and several countries to compete on five area golf courses.
The tournament, founded in 2002, is open to golfers ages 3 to 22 and is recognized nationally by the American Junior Golf Association and other junior golf ranking organizations. More than 230 golfers have already registered for this year’s event, including participants from First Tee Greater Chicago.
Organizers say the tournament not only provides top-level competition for young golfers but also generates significant tourism and economic benefits for the Bloomington-Normal area.
