Legendary rock band The Beach Boys will bring their Sounds of Summer Tour to Grossinger Motors Arena on Thursday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m.
The concert will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary and the 60th anniversary of the band’s landmark album Pet Sounds. For more than six decades, The Beach Boys have remained one of America’s most influential bands, with hits including “Surfin’ U.S.A.,” “California Girls,” “I Get Around,” “Help Me, Rhonda,” “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” and “Kokomo.”
The group has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, earned more than 33 Gold and Platinum certifications from the RIAA, been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. The band’s legacy continues through projects such as the 2024 Disney+ documentary The Beach Boys, while founding member Mike Love was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2025.
Before the show, fans can attend the free Good Vibrations Cruise-In, presented by Mid-State Cruisers, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Front Street outside the arena. The event will feature classic cars, door prizes, and vehicles of all makes and models as part of Grossinger Motors Arena’s Summer of Celebrations.
