The ParkLands Foundation has named Craig Lutes as its new executive director. Lutes will lead the Central Illinois conservation organization’s efforts to preserve and restore natural lands, protect habitats and strengthen relationships with donors, members and volunteers.
He also will oversee partnerships focused on watershed health, sustainable land management and environmental education.
“We are thrilled to welcome Craig Lutes to the team,” said Shannon Fulton, president of the ParkLands Foundation.
Founded in 1967, the nonprofit works to protect natural lands in the Mackinaw River Basin in McLean and Woodford counties through conservation easements, land donations and other acquisitions.
