The Great Pumpkin Hunt returns to Bloomington parks this October, giving families a chance to explore local parks while searching for decorated pumpkins.
The Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department will post two clues on October 2 at 11 a.m. on its Facebook page. New clues will follow October 9, 16 and 23, for a total of eight pumpkins hidden throughout the park system.
Participants who find a pumpkin can take a photo with it and the Great Pumpkin Hunt sign, then post the photo with that week’s clue on Facebook.
Three winners will be drawn October 30, with prize baskets awarded. More information is available at BloomingtonParks.org.
