(The Center Square) – Two people were hospitalized in stable condition after a small plane crashed at a Bolingbrook park on Tuesday evening.
The Bolingbrook Fire Department said both occupants on board the aircraft were safely taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were notified and are expected to investigate the incident.
IDFPR MEMBERS TO SERVE ON NONBANK ADVISORY COUNCIL
Two members of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation are slated to serve on the Nonbank Industry Advisory Council, a forum designed to foster dialog among industry experts and state supervisors.
IDFPR said its director of financial institutions, Francisco Menchaca, will serve as a regulator liaison, and Bradley Fletcher of the division of banking will serve as an alternate regulator liaison.
The Conference of State Bank Supervisors announced the formation of the NIAC on Tuesday.
ILLINOIS FUEL PRICES SLIP BUT REMAIN HIGH
The price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Illinois dropped 2 cents on Wednesday, according to AAA. The average price of $4.74 is 46 cents higher than it was one month ago and $1.37 higher than it was one year ago.
The average price in Indiana on Wednesday was $3.83, or 91 cents lower than the Illinois price. The national average was $4.43.
FINANCIAL CONDITIONS INDEX REMAINS UNCHANGED
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s National Financial Conditions Index was unchanged at –0.55 in the week ending Sept. 25, suggesting steady financial conditions.
