A pair of 5-4 Bloomington City Council votes sent most in attendance home fuming. The Bloomington City Council voted to double the city motor fuels tax. The tax goes into effect May 1, 2019. The council also approved a new licensing fee for video gaming. Businesses will now be charged $500.00 per video gaming terminal.
