Rivian Electric Vehicle plant is starting an over one million dollar renovation of its facility. A company spokesperson says they’re remodeling office spaces, upgrading lighting, and adding a break room. The work is the first phase of the company’s long term goal to start manufacturing vehicles in Normal, which would bring more jobs to the area. The work is expected to be completed in 18 months.
