Five people died in an overnight fire in a Goodfield. Firefighters arrived at 14 Cypress Court in the Timberline Trailer Court in Goodfield at about 11:25pm to find a trailer fully engulfed. The Pantagraph reports two people managed to escape the blaze and were taken to OSF Healthcare St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. The dead are listed as 69-year-old Kathryn Murray, 34-year-old Jason Wall, 2-year-old Rose Allwood, 2-year-old Damien Wall and one-year-old Ariel Wall. Katrina Alwood and Kyle Alwood were treated and released at OSF Healthcare St. Francis Medical Center. The fire is under investigation.
