Local cities and towns in Illinois can no longer set their own work rules. Governor JB Pritzker on Friday signed a law to outlaw local right to work zones. Pritzker, who was elected with the backing of Illinois’ major public sector unions, says the law will ensure that Illinois is never a Right to Work state. Right to Work States allow people to choose if they want to be in a union or not.
