If you want to work for the state of Illinois, you may soon need to live in the state of Illinois. The Illinois Senate last week unanimously approved a plan to require that anyone hired by the state after the first of next year actually live in Illinois. If they live out of state, they’d have three months to move. Suburban-Chicago Senator Laura Fine is driving the plan.
