Testimony in the Kirk Zimmerman trial is focusing on DNA and forensic evidence found at the scene of Pam Zimmerman’s murder. Kirk is accused of shooting ex-wife Pam to death in her offices in November 2014. A forensic scientist testified yesterday that gunshot residue tests administered on Kirk’s hands and his winter gloves came back negative. The defense asserted in its line of questioning that gunshot residue found on the gearshift of Kirk’s car was the result of contamination. Testimony continues today.
