A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for portions of central Illinois tonight, mainly from Springfield to Pontiac northwest. Much of the area has saturated soil from all the recent rain, and another 3/4 to 1 inch is likely tonight with locally heavier amounts, increasing the potential for flooding.
