Cities along Illinois’ flooded rivers are getting more help. Governor JB Pritzker yesterday ordered another 200 or so National Guardsmen to help out along the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. The governor ordered 200 troops to the flood zone last month as well. Governor Pritzker says the troops will help shore up levees across the state, and protect evacuation routes if they’re needed.
