Two people are dead after a house exploded in rural Knox County. Folks in the tiny town of Rapatee were shaken by the explosion yesterday morning about 11:30 a.m. Police say it could have been worse, there was a church service going on right across the street. There’s no word on what may have caused the explosion. Knox County emergency managers say a handful of other homes on the same block were damaged by the blast.
