
The Bloomington Police is actively searching for Scotty A. Allen, AKA: “30”, age 18, of Bloomington as the third suspect in the April 2, 2019 Orchard Road homicide of Juan Nash. Scotty Allen is described as a black male, approximately 5’08”, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Scotty Allen should be considered to be “armed and dangerous.” Please do not approach Scotty Allen, call 911 or the local police if he is seen.
Yesterday, on 06-10-19, the Bloomington Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit arrested Amari McNabb, age 20, of County Club Hills, Illinois, in Bloomington, IL. Additional co-defendant, Exodus Hebert, age 18, of Bloomington, was served with a Homicide warrant while in custody at the McLean County Jail on unrelated charges.

Previous release:
On Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019, at approximately 9:48 p.m., the Bloomington Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the 1200 block of Orchard Road, Bloomington, IL. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male, later identified as Nathaniel Caldwell, 26, with gunshot wounds. Caldwell was ultimately transported to an area hospital for treatment. His condition is critical, but stable. Additional evidence of a shooting was located near the street in the 1200 block of Orchard.
A short distance from the scene, officers also located a vehicle that had struck a parked car and a residence near the intersection of Wildwood and Orchard. The sole occupant of the vehicle, Juan Nash, 25, was found to have gunshot wounds and was unresponsive. Life-saving efforts were performed by officers and Rescue, but Nash succumbed to his injuries.
Shortly after the above incidents, the Bloomington Police Department was notified that a third adult male subject arrived at an area hospital with gunshot wounds. That subject, identified as Scotty Allen, 18, is listed in critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing, therefore, no additional details will be provided at this time.
