U.S. Senator Dick Durbin will have a challenger in the upcoming 2020 election.
Republican Robert Marshall is announcing his bid to become the next U.S. Senator from Illinois.
In a release, Marshall, a Viet Nam veteran, says he privately practices radiology, doing so since 1984 after years serving as an Assistant Director of Radiology at MacNeal Hosptial.
Marshall’s statement says he has been a member of the Burr Ridge Board of Trustees, board of director for the PAV YMCA in Berwyn, and participant for the Burr Ridge/Willowbrook Chamber of Commerce and the Berwyn Development Corporation.
