One person is dead after a semi collision in Woodford County. Illinois State Police say one semi was broken down on I-74 near milepost 117 yesterday afternoon when another hit it while trying to pass and caught fire. Authorities say one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital. They didn’t release which semi the injured driver was operating or the extent of the person’s injuries. The crash is under investigation.
