Former girls freshman basketball and volleyball coach Hayley Reneau, 23, was arrested for the charge of criminal sexual assault on Monday.
Reneau allegedly held a position of trust, authority, or supervision in relation to the victim.
The victim’s age is between 13 and 17 years old.
WCHS superintendent Dr. Kyle Freeman released a statement, saying Reneau resigned from her job on July 29. She reportedly had “an inappropriate relationship with a student” and law enforcement notified the school.
