A Bloomington man was charged with seven felony counts in connection with a shooting in the 1700 block of Springfield Road that left two people injured Tuesday afternoon. The Pantagraph reports Dominique Atwater, 26, was formally charged in McLean County court Thursday afternoon, but his lawyer, Terry Dodds, said he was acting in self-defense.
