The Normal Town Council will hear a report from its consultant on tax increment financing. PGAV Planners are expected to describe the overall financial impact of Uptown developments and tell them how a TIF is supposed to work when it comes to economic development .
Also on the agenda, a $150,000 tax rebate package to help Ryan and Steve Fiala, owners of DP Dough, who want to open a brewpub next to their restaurant in Uptown Normal.
