On Thursday, 10/10/2019, the Bloomington Police Department’s S.W.A.T. team performed a search warrant at 508 W. Washington Street, apt. #2, in regards to the resolution of a drug sales investigation by BPD’s Vice Unit.
Arrested were:
Calvin E. Purdle, 30, of Bloomington was charged with MANUFACTURE / DELIVERY / 01-15 GRAMS COCAINE, MANUFACTURE / DELIVERY / OTHER AMOUNT NARCOTIC SCHEDULE III
Blanche Swift, 60, of Bloomington, was charged with four counts of MANUFACTURE / DELIVERY / OTHER AMOUNT NARCOTIC SCHEDULE III,
MANUFACTURE / DELIVERY / 01-15 GRAMS COCAINE, AMOUNT NARCOTIC SCHOOLED I / II / SCHOOL / HOUSING / PARK
Both have bonds of $100,000 -10% to apply.
During the execution of the search warrant, a male fled out of the residence. He was taken into custody without incident after a short chase. That male (not pictured) was arrested for Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer and an unrelated active felony McLean County warrant.
All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in the court of law.
