Student representatives and Illinois State University officials met for nearly an hour and a half Wednesday in what President Larry Dietz described as “a very productive meeting” about black students’ concerns. The private meeting was scheduled after a number of issues anger the group to point of having a march on campus Oct. 7 at which protesters chanted, “This fake diversity has got to go,”along with social media posts using the hashtag “AntiBlackISU.” Dietz says he will address the situation at the ISU board of trustees meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday in the Old Main Room at the Bone Student Center
