The Illinois state schools superintendent has suspended the teaching license of a Unit 5 teacher, Jonathan Hovey, who is accused of sex crimes. Hovey formerly taught first grade at Glenn Elementary in Normal and now stands accused of sexually assaulting two students since 2005. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Hovey has been on unpaid administrative leave since April. Police acknowledge the possibility there could be more victims.
