A person died at the intersection of Fort Jesse Road and Veterans Parkway in Normal on Wednesday evening. Normal Police said a single northbound car hit a pedestrian about 8:30 p.m. as the person crossed Veterans Parkway.Police and the McLean County coroner are investigating and have not yet released the name of the person killed.
