Police in the Twin Cities are asking parents if their child has been going out with friends at night over the past few weeks in a Red or Dark Red colored Jeep. If so Normal Police Department and City of Bloomington Police may need to speak to them.
Normal PD and Bloomington PD have been investigating over 23 reported incidents of vehicle damage in which vehicles windows have been shot out with a BB style gun.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Normal PD at 309-454-9535. Incident Report 201915028.
If you wish to remain anonymous, please call McLean County Crime Stoppers at (309) 828-1111. If your call leads to the arrest and indictment of suspect(s) you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
All suspects are innocent unless proven guilty in the court of law.
As always, please do not post the names of any suspects in the comments section.

The Bloomington Police are making a similar request:
“Parents, please tell your little “Ralphie” to stop shooting their “official Red Ryder, carbine action, 200-shot, range model air rifle, with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time” all over the city.
Apparently no one told them that they’ll “shoot their eye out.”
Check with your teens at night, to make sure it’s not them. Why?
#1. It is damaging people’s property, which is a crime.
#2. They’ll shoot their eye out
#3. Someone may think it is a real gun…(not good)”
