There’s been another change in the makeup of a new state task force on ethics. Governor JB Pritzker had to withdraw his nomination of former Republican lawmaker Steve Andersson to the panel, because Andersson worked as a lobbyist after leaving the legislature… and the law that created the task force prohibits anyone who has lobbied in the past five years from serving on it.
Pritzker has instead nominated former Senate Republican leader Christine Radogno to the panel. Earlier, GOP Senator Jason Plummer dropped off the panel in a dispute with current GOP leader Bill Brady over ethics reform legislation.
