Demetrius Dawson, 18, of Normal was taken into custody Monday morning and faces several weapons and drug charges, according to Normal Police.
Police were called around 6:45 a.m. to the Lincoln Square Apartments in the 1700 block of North School Street on a report of shots fired.
After an investigation, authorities said they found evidence a shooting incident. No one was injured.
Dawson was taken to the McLean County jail.
