Bond has been set at $5 million for a Cullom man charged with shooting and killing his wife Shirley Brewer, son Christian Brewer and Norman Walker, a neighbor in the early morning hours of Christmas Day.
Clifford W. Brewer faces six counts of first-degree murder – two for each of his victims.
Brewer told Illinois State Police he had been Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve and got into an argument with his wife after arriving home.
Shirley Brewer then called Norman, so she could have a friend to talk to.
Not long after that, Brewer said he fell asleep.
Brewer then claimed to have woken up to find all three dead.
