“We are excited for the IHSA Dance State Finals to return to Grossinger Motors Arena and Bloomington-Normal on January 31 and February 1,” said IHSA Assistant Executive Director Tracie Henry. “The State Finals are the culminating event of the season for high school dancers, and for many of the seniors, the final performances of their competitive careers. The dancers will make memories that will last a lifetime, and we are so happy that the Bloomington-Normal community as a whole has embraced this event to make it so special for them. I invite anyone who hasn’t attended before to come see what it is all about, you will be treated to incredible athleticism, sportsmanship and camaraderie among the dancers. And if you can dance, we just might invite you down to the arena floor to show us your best moves.”
Over 9,000 people are expected to travel to Bloomington-Normal for the 8th annual IHSA Competitive Dance State Finals, with an estimated direct economic impact of $737,500.
