State parks in Illinois are shutting down.
The Illinois Department of Natural Resources announced the closures yesterday that include fish and wildlife areas, recreational areas, and historic sites. All upcoming events are canceled.
Agency officials say they will make an announcement when they plan to reopen the parks.
