The Associated Press declared Biden the winner in Florida, with 219 delegates at stake, moments after polls closed on the Panhandle at 8 p.m. ET. He is also projected winner in the Illinois primary, which has 155 delegates. It was unclear how social distancing and self-quarantining would affect turnout or whether voters would be discouraged from showing up by the risk of COVID-19 infection. The urgency of the race has also diminished significantly since Biden took the majority of delegates in primary contests over the last two weeks.
