MONTICELLO, Ill. (WICS/WCCU) — Precautionary measure are being made all across the state to help aid with the issues that are arising due to COVID-19, and Monticello is preparing for the worst.
The city now has a refrigerated trailer at the public safety building.
Piatt County Emergency Management Agency Director Mike Holmes tells WICS/WCCU TV the county morgue only has space for three bodies.
The trailer will store bodies if COVID-19 hits the city especially hard.
