Appearing on Scott Robbins in the Morning Tuesday, Representative Dan Brady (R) defends his actions to push Governor Pritzker to reopen the state in a regional approach, However, he thinks lawsuits such as the one filed against Governor Pritzker and won by Representative Darren Bailey might not be helping those discussions moving forward.
Brady outlined and defended the works of his colleagues and himself to get the governor to at least reopen the parks and allow elective surgeries to resume, saying two out of four was a sign a progress.
Brady and other Republicans such as Representative Tom Bennett have indeed been pushing for a more regional approach to reopening the state as we reported last week. But Robbins told Brady, “You need to be a little louder.”
When talking to Robbins about the negotiations with the governor, he referred to Bailey’s lawsuit saying, “When you start putting things in the mix that gets people picking sides and dividing people further with litigation, that’s been counter productive.”
