Governor Pritzker and his Chicago staff will be working from home after a senior staffer tested positive for COVID-19.
The governor was tested yesterday, and the results were negative. The rest of Pritzker’s staff who have been reporting to the office also tested negative.
The governor’s office says about 20 staff members have been working from the Thompson Center, following Illinois Department of Public Health guidelines and practicing social distancing.
The governor will continue to conduct weekday news briefings.
