(WMAY) — As a backlash grows against the state’s business restrictions, Governor JB Pritzker is making changes to his reopening plan.
WMAY in Springfield reports the governor says the state’s progress and overall compliance with restrictions will allow more businesses to ramp up operations more quickly. Pritzker is now giving bars and restaurants the option to open for outdoor service, with appropriate spacing and other safety precautions, when each region moves into Phase Three… now expected to happen on May 29th.
Phase Three will also allow more activities, including boating, camping, and other activities in groups of up to 10 people.
