
Restaurants, bars, and retail shops are set to reopen Friday.
Restaurants and bars will be allowed to provide outdoor seating as long as guidelines for social distancing and sanitation are met. Retailers must also follow similar guidelines related to capacity and sanitation.
Tuesday, the Bloomington City Council voted unanimously to amend the city’s emergency declaration ordinance to give City Mgr Tim Gleason the authority to expedite allowing businesses to operate outdoors on public and private property temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic.
