
This morning, 6/3/2020, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Bloomington officers were dispatched to the 800 block of E. Washington St. for a person who was shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a 37 year old adult male victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. It was reported the male was shot outside during an argument.
Officers rendered first aid to the victim. The victim was initially transported to St. Joseph’s Emergency Room by Bloomington Fire and Rescue but was later transferred to St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. The victim is believed to have life threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported. There is no suspect information to release at this time, no arrests have been made. This is an isolated incident and is not related to the looting type crimes over the past several days.
