A 59-year-old Bloomington man is dead after being hit by car in a Construction Zone on Route 24 near the intersection of Ford Street in Gridley this morning.
At approximately 10:12 am, the McLean County Coroner’s Office received notification of a death at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center Emergency Room. The man was pronounced dead just before 10 am at the hospital.
The name of the decedent is being withheld pending notification of legal next of kin. This incident remains under investigation by the McLean County Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police.
