The state of Illinois is telling people not to plant any mystery seeds from China that show-up in their mailboxes.
The Illinois Department of Agriculture yesterday said anyone who gets any seeds should contact them. The department says do not plant them or even throw them away.
People in several states have said they’ve gotten seeds inside packages that were labeled jewelry and sent from China. Ag officials worry they are invasive plants that could harm the state.
