
McLean County Health Department is reporting 5 new cases of COVID-19 today, bringing our total to 737 cases.
At this time 104 individuals are isolating at home. Six individuals are currently hospitalized, with one of those in Intensive Care. There are 612 individuals that have been released from isolation and are considered recovered.
There have been 15 COVID-related deaths in McLean County.
Over 35,600 tests have been resulted for a cumulative positivity rate of 2.1%. The rolling 7-day positivity rate is 1.8% through 8/14/2020.
McLean County’s positivity rate has stayed right around or below 2%, while regionally our positivity rate has been increasing (around 5%). For the week of August 2 through August 8, McLean County was again in the warning level of IDPH’s county-level metrics for the new cases per 100,000 indicator. The county has had nearly 200 positive cases so far this month.
