It only took 10 days last month for 125,000 people to cast more than 3 million votes in support of their favorite causes. As a result, 40 communities in 18 states will be getting an assist from State Farm®.
State Farm is proud to announce Central Illinois-based Paws Giving Independence is one of the 40 causes to win a $25,000 grant through State Farm Neighborhood Assist.
Paws Giving Independence trains service dogs for children and adults with a variety of special needs as well as facility dogs for schools and other centers. As the only Assistance Dogs International accredited service dog organization in Illinois, Paws Giving Independence only place dogs in Illinois. They also work with Bradley University and Illinois State University students to help with training dogs in the program.
