The Normal Town Council voteed to approve a Community Investment Plan that spans $157 million in projects. The plan includes more than 400 projects proposed for the next five fiscal years –which includes the Uptown Station Underpass– along with a mapping tool for the town website that integrates the investment plan into a geographic information system.

Underpass Project, Street Resurfacing, Bridge Maintenance, Sidewalk Repair, ADA Compliance on Sidewalks, Route 66 Bike Trail, Upgrade Traffic Signals
Water ($26.9 Million)
College Ave. Extension, Main Replacement, Well Replacement and Maintenance, Other Infrastructure
Sewers ($16.6 Million)
General Maintenance and Repair
Facilities ($8.8 Million)
New Fire Station and General Maintenance and Improvements
Storm Water Drainage ($5.2 Million)
General Infrastructure
Parks ($4.4 Million)
Maxwell Park Improvements, Eagles Landing Trail Extension, Pool Maintenance, Skate Park Renovation, Trail Resurfacing
