Bloomington Police officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of W. Olive, Bloomington, IL., shortly before 2am Saturday for the report of subjects fighting. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 20-year-old male victim in an apartment with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The iIdentification of the victim is pending notice to the next of kin.
The Bloomington Police Department’s Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) detectives and Criminal Investigations Division (CID) detectives were also called to process and investigate the homicide. At this time, there have been no arrests made, no suspect(s) information to release, and there are no other injuries to report. The circumstances regarding the death are still under investigation.
