The Bloomington City Council, Trustee to the John M. Scott Health Care Trust, approved a total of $929,705.89 in funding to organizations serving McLean County on Monday, February 28, 2022.
These grants will fund efforts to support the health and well-being of community members that face disparate health outcomes.
Grant commitments were approved for two categories of funding, which includes $177,923.86 in capital funding for local organizations. Funding addresses access to care, behavioral health, healthy eating, and active living, which are goals outlined in the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) for McLean County.
