Bloomington police officers were dispatched Friday morning at about 9:15 to a parking lot on Goose Creek Drive for a shots fired call for service. Upon arrival, officers learned that a shooting had occurred in a parking lot.
During the shooting, one adult male was injured and transported to a local hospital. Officers also located other evidence that a shooting had occurred.
During the investigation, BPD officers and a Mclean County Canine Unit assisted with searching the area for the suspect. BPD’s Crime Scene Unit and Criminal Investigation Division also responded and began their investigation.
