McLean County Coroner Dr. Kathy Yoder is releasing the following information regarding the
fatality on US Route 51 at Old Colonial Road in Bloomington, Illinois on November 30, 2022:
Edeberto Alameda,62, of Bloomington, was pronounced deceased at 11, November 30, 2022, was Preliminary autopsy opinion indicates that Mr. Alameda died of multiple
blunt injuries, reportedly sustained as the pedestrian struck by an automobile. Toxicology testing is pending.
This incident remains under investigation by the Illinois State Police and the McLean
County Coroner’s Office.
