It all started because the vote totals seemed odd. A Will County clerk candidate got more votes than incumbent Governor JB Pritzker, which is unusual but not impossible but there was something found by a group of experts that, according to Illinois attorney David Shestokas, is proof that the 2022 election race for County Clerk was not decided by the people.
Lauren Staley Ferry, incumbent Democrat, running against Gretchen Fritz…got over 120,000 votes, that’s more than Pritzker’s 117,000.
“That’s not impossible but it is strange,” said Shestokas. “We know that as you get down ballot that voters might not know those candidates and traditionally less money is spent in those races.”
Shestokas said in almost every precinct she got more votes than Pritzker.
Shestokas passed this along to Ed Solomon in New York. Solomon said he conducted a mathematical analysis showing that the results in Fulton County, Georgia, “can only have been done by an algorithm.”
Shestokas shared with Cities that upon review Solomon determined that there’s a mathematical “pattern” that was applied to each precinct.
“All 310 precincts of the Will County Clerk’s race comport with this formula,” said Shestokas. “This is impossible. This was not something done by the voters. These vote returns do not express the will of the people.”

Daugherity also told Shestokas that the Illinois Will County Clerk election was not determined by the voters.
“We have been in court on that since December 28 2022, they have been fighting tooth and nail because they don’t want Solomon and Daugherity to testify in a courtroom,” Shestokas. “They [the defendants] want to review every single ballot. We don’t need to do that because we have proof this was not the will of the people. Once you have Solomon and Daugherity testify you’d need someone to come in and try to dispute the math.”
