The Bloomington/Normal Honor guard will be conducting a Vietnam Veterans Recognition Event on the East Steps of the McLean County Museum of History on March 29, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Jerry Vogler with the Veterans Corner, which heard on Mondays on Cities 92.9, tells us the ceremony will open with a flyover of “Salute.”
The event will feature introductions and invocation, speakers sharing their experiences in the Vietnam War, a three-volley rifle salute, Taps, and a bagpiper closing the ceremony with Amazing Grace.
