Illinois State University announces the largest faculty cash gift in the school’s history which is $1 million from Carson and Iris Varner. The two retired in 2010 when Carson was director of the ISU’s International Business Institute. The institute will be renamed the Carson and Iris Varner International Business Institute in recognition of their gift. The news comes on the University’s Founder’s Day.
