The Bloomington City Council has approved a development agreement between Carle Health, the Deneen family and the City of Bloomington to develop 35.5 acres next to the Carle BroMenn Outpatient Center on the city’s east side.
The multi-year project will expand the medical campus while adding retail and commercial space aimed at improving community amenities and access to healthcare.
City officials and Carle leaders say the mixed-use development is part of a long-term investment in the Bloomington-Normal area and is expected to support future medical services and community growth.
